What is ListPipe?
ListPipe is a fan-powered tool for ordering an artist’s complete song catalog, saving a personal ranking, comparing with friends, and contributing one active vote to a community leaderboard.
Do I need an account to rank songs?
No. You can build a device-only ranking without an account. Sign-in is required to save across devices, submit to the community, suggest an artist, or create a friend challenge.
What counts as a song?
A distinct officially released song or work counts once. Remixes, edits, live versions, reprises, excerpts, and alternate recordings do not create separate entries. Covers and distinct instrumentals do count.
How does my list influence the leaderboard?
The order of the songs you submit becomes a set of weighted head-to-head preferences. Your active submission has the same total influence whether it contains a short selection or a complete catalog.
What happens when I update my ranking?
Saving updates your editable account copy. Submitting updates the active version that affects the community leaderboard and replaces your previous vote for that artist.
Are missing songs treated as songs I dislike?
No. A partial ranking compares only the songs you included. Songs you have not ranked receive no preference from your submission.
Can I listen before choosing?
Yes. Listen menus open searches in Apple Music or YouTube Music so you can identify a song before placing it. ListPipe does not host or sell the recording.
Can I create a playlist from my ranking?
Yes. You can export ordered playlist files or authorize Apple Music to create a playlist from a selected portion of your ranking.
Can I compare my list with a friend?
Yes. Signed-in users can create a private challenge for one artist. Results reveal agreement, shared favorites, and the largest ranking differences after both people are ready.
How do I report a catalog mistake?
Use the catalog correction form. Include the artist, song, issue type, explanation, and a reliable source when possible.
